三藩市健體太極拳會(即三藩市訪谷區培根中心太極拳會).每两年,我們都舉辦太極拳聯誼大匯演的活動.屆時匯集太極拳各路愛好者進行拳術交流匯演,以拳會友,增進拳術和友誼.為此今年三藩市健體太極拳會將定於9月12日,中午12:00–4:00 在訪谷中學大禮堂舉行第五屆太極拳聯誼會.

今年我們特別邀請的表演嘉賓有世界太極拳冠軍鄒雲健師傅,有武術界老前輩吳老伯和他的女兒,亦即是連續三年榮獲全國太極拳全能冠軍的吳阿敏師傅聯合表演. 有灣區著名武術名家李書東方國旋師傅光臨表演定會使聯誼會增添光彩.

報名具體事項: 每個團體報名的同時請電郵到festival@sftaichi.com 或傳真到(650) 737-9660 把您們團體的名稱,回郵地址傳過來.每個團體可報一至二個節目.每個節目不超過七分鐘.

We are proud to present the Fifth Tai Chi Festival.  It will be hosted by the San Francisco Fitness Tai Chi Group also known as the Visitacion Valley Beacon Tai Chi Group.  Mark your calendar, it will be held on September 12, 2009 in the Visitacion Valley Middle School Auditorium in San Francisco.

We will be joined by a distinguished panel of guests. Among them is World Champion, Zou, Yun Jian (鄒雲建) who will be performing for us. The three-time Chinese National Champion, Wu, Amin, will be performing with her father, Mr. Wu, (吳老伯) a renowned martial arts master; this is their first father and daughter performance in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our other special guests are Wushu Master, Li, Shu Dong (李書東) and Bryant Fong (方國旋).

All are welcome to this festival. You can come as a spectator and/or performer. Come share the fun and enjoy the experience with us.

As a spectator, the admission to this event is free. As a performer, you must register by July 31, 2009. Each participant or organization can sign up to perform up to two performances and each must be no longer than seven minutes. Please submit your registration form via email at festival@sftaichi.com or fax to (650) 737-9660. We look forward to seeing you.

Who We Are

We are a community of Tai Chi enthusiasts who share a common interest to learn and promote this ancient martial art form. We are under the direction and tutelage of Master He, Xiaodong (何曉東). We practice Yang Style Tai Chi and our emphasis is on health and fitness.    

We focus on the fundamentals and gradually progress into more complex movements and forms. We encourage our students to practice at their own pace and to follow the group, as their ability will permit.

You are invited; come and join us. Come for the peace and relaxation. Come to learn the gentle and graceful movement of Tai Chi. Come and experience this timeless “moving meditation” with us. Your diligent practice will lead you to realize the many benefits of Tai Chi. We recommend that you consult your physician before you start Tai Chi with us.
